Hi! I’m Jaimee, the tiny CEO and head maker behind Jaimee’s Playdough.
I’ve always loved mixing, squishing, swirling, and shaping — so one day, with the help of my family, I started making my own playdough using natural ingredients from the kitchen.
People loved it! Friends wanted more… then their friends… and suddenly, Jaimee’s Playdough was born

At Jaimee’s Playdough, every tub starts with curiosity, creativity, and a sprinkle of magic. Our playdough is soft, squishy, long-lasting, and infused with natural colours from plants, spices, and fruits. Absolutely no nasties — just clean, simple ingredients parents trust and textures kids can’t resist.

🌼 A Little Girl With a Big Heart and an Even Bigger Imagination!
When Jaimee was born, doctors told us she would never be able to walk or talk. She came into the world with cerebral palsy and a few other challenges, and we were heartbroken — unsure of what her future would look like. But Jaimee had her own plan.
And it turns out the doctors couldn’t have been more wrong.
Today, she talks non-stop, laughs loudly, makes friends everywhere she goes, and moves around in her own wonderfully unique way. She loves people, loves animals, and if she had her way, we’d have 380 pets and host a social braai for the whole neighbourhood every single night. Jaimee attends The Butterfly Centre in Stanford, a special needs school filled with love, patience, and extraordinary support. They have been a lifeline for our family, giving Jaimee the care, community, and confidence she needs to grow, explore, and shine.
One thing about Jaimee has always been crystal clear:
She was born with a heart full of love and a creative spirit that inspires everyone around her. She has always adored arts and crafts — especially playdough. It’s calming, colourful, and gives her the freedom to express herself. That’s how the idea for Jaimee’s Playdough was born: a project that brings her joy, gives her a sense of purpose, and one day, will help provide her with her own independent income.
Every batch is handmade with love, imagination, and a sprinkle of Jaimee’s magic.
